2. The most interesting fact about science is that it is everywhere.


3. Science is like a vast and endless jigsaw puzzle. Every new discovery we make adds another piece to this puzzle. These new discoveries enhance our understanding of the world.


4. Earth is the only planet on which life exists. There is an amazing diversity of life on Earth—plants and animals that have been able to live and thrive in different regions of this planet.


5. For the growth (development) of our body, we need food. Along with food, we also need water.


6. Scientific Method – You were writing in your notebook when suddenly your pen stopped working. What do you do then?At first, you think that the ink in the pen has run out. You check the ink and find that it hasn’t finished. Then you guess that the ink has dried up.Your attempt to find out why your pen stopped writing is an example of the scientific method. 


7. Scientist – Those people who use the scientific method to find solutions to problems or to discover new things are called scientists. Scientists around the world usually work together in large groups.


8. We all also apply scientific methods to some extent, which help us solve major problems and enhance our ability to uncover the mysteries of the universe.
